They are made using a sustainable wood known as sheesham. Each design is carefully traced and carved by hand onto the wood.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe blocks are then soaked in mustard oil for several days. This traditional process helps to preserve the wood and makes it less absorbent, allowing the blocks to be used time and time again.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eHow to Use a Wooden Printing Block\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll of our wooden printing blocks can be used to hand print your own fabric, paper, card and clay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrinting on fabric: Use a fabric paint or other suitable medium to ensure your design is completely washable. Our fabric paints require heat setting with an iron to make them permanent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrinting on paper \u0026amp; card: You can use a wide variety of paints.
