Maggie

Maggie founded the Indian Block Print Co. in 2010 after sensing the thirst in the craft community for the simplicity, accessibility and beauty of block printing. She is the beautiful heart of our business and everyone's mum. Just like her origins in pottery painting, she recognises the capacity of block printing to allow anyone to create something beautiful regardless of background, and in doing so build confidence and wellbeing.

Travelling to India makes her heart sing, as does working with her team, but she just loves her life full stop. If Maggie were an Indian Block Print Co. paint shade, she'd be aquamarine, the colour of joy.

Tess

Everything Manager

The amazing Tess keeps us all in check and is the operational brains behind the Indian Block Print Co., along with her mum, Maggie. She's dog mummy to Bleau and loves skiing. If Tess were a paint shade, she'd be navy for her love of India and everything blue.

Holly

Studio Manager

Holly joined us from working with Annie Sloan over 6 years ago, to run our studio and teach printing, her love of which she combines with her love of animals in her biz Holly B Designs. Holly in a paint shade is beautiful aquamarine.

Anya

Office & Mail Order Manager

Anya has been with us for 10 years and adores her Block Print family. It's highly likely you've spoken to her on the phone. She loves food, her cat and her new hubby, but a messy office? No thanks! Anya in a paint shade is the joyful raspberry.

Anna

Shows & Events Manager

Anna started as a Saturday girl over 15 years ago and we simply don't know what we'd do without her. She loves food & prosecco, and being outside - even if she can't stand the cold. If Anna were a Block Print Co. paint shade she'd be gold, like the star she is.

Annabel

Studio Lead

After travelling around the world, Annabel joined the family business. She's passionate about India and recreating pattern and design on clothing. She's a real font of all knowledge for workshops. When not printing, she's with her beloved horses, and would be aquamarine in a paint shade, like her lovely mum Maggie.

Travis

Shows & Events

Travis joined us in 2018, after Maggie thought working with blocks might help through a period of ill health. He's a total gem and the darling of the show stand. Khaki is his paint shade: muted at times, but can shine.

Amy

Marketing & PR

Amy twirled into our lives in summer 2022 to help us shout about block printing from the rooftops. She's also an illustrator and has two little people to share the block printing love with. Her paint shade is ocean, because the sea is her happy happy place.

Amanda

Frenchic tutor

The very talented Amanda is our resident Frenchic painting tutor, wowing us with new ideas of how to use this beautiful paint to brighten up your home. Amanda lives locally to the studio and before joining us as a tutor was a regular workshop attendee!
