About the Tour
We’re proud to share that The Indian Block Print Co. has now hosted two block printing tours to India, each one an inspiring and immersive experience in the heart of this beautiful traditional craft.
Travelling through Rajasthan, we spend time with our artisan partners in their workshops, witnessing first-hand the intricate process of block carving and hand printing. We explore craft villages, share home-cooked meals, and learn directly from the artisans themselves.
Alongside this, we wander through Bapu Bazaar in Jaipur’s Pink City, explore historic sites, and visit the Taj Mahal.
These tours are about more than travel, they are about connection. Connection to the craft, to the culture, and most importantly, to the extraordinary artisans whose skill and precision define everything we create.
As part of the spirit and intention of the tour, we’d also like to mention that this is not a sourcing or wholesale-focused trip. Our time in India is centered around learning, cultural exchange, traditional craft techniques, and experiencing the world of block printing in an immersive and respectful way.
While we will be visiting artisan workshops and taking part in hands-on printing experiences, the tour will not include visits to production facilities, wholesale suppliers, or block carving workshops for sourcing purposes.
