This November, you may have seen something a little special happening across our social media… we’ve taken on a festive 24 Days of Block Printing challenge, and invited all of you to join in too!
Every other day, we’ve been sharing a curated collection of inspiration images focused on handmade Christmas crafting and gifting. The following day, we post a video demo to show you exactly how you can recreate the ideas using our hand-carved wooden printing blocks.
Below is a closer look at each of the projects we’ve covered, and how block printing can transform your Christmas gifting!
Gift Tags
One of the simplest ways to begin block printing, and very satisfying! Gift tags are small, quick to print, and perfect for trying out new motifs or colours. Whether you prefer simple snowflakes or something bolder like a Christmas tree or festive paisley, printed tags instantly give your gifts a handmade touch.

Christmas Cards
Hand-printed Christmas cards are a beautiful way to send festive wishes. Using different block designs, you can create minimal Scandinavian styles, gingerbread village inspired patterns, or classic red-and-green holiday scenes.

Wrapping Paper
Brown kraft paper becomes something magical when printed with repeat patterns. Create your own luxury wrapping paper using festive blocks, stars, fir branches, baubles, holly, or animals. It’s eco-friendly, cost-effective, and makes even the simplest gift feel incredibly thoughtful and personal.

Christmas Crackers
For a handmade Christmas tablescape, printed crackers are perfect. You can print your own cracker papers then roll, fill, and tie them. Block-printed motifs give them that handcrafted, boutique feel you’ll never find in shop-bought crackers.

Tissue Paper
Printed tissue paper is a lovely way to wrap handmade gifts or line boxes and hampers. It prints beautifully with a light touch and you can mix traditional colours like red and green or go monochrome for something clean and modern.

Fabric Gift Bags
Eco-friendly, reusable, and beautiful! Fabric gift bags are a sustainable alternative to wrapping paper. Print onto calico, cotton, or linen. Add ties, ribbons, or drawstring channels for something extra special.

Table Runner (Leafy Table Runner Kit)
Using our Leafy Table Runner Kit, you can create a stunning centrepiece for Christmas dining. Layer leafy blocks, add berries, or mix in stars for a wintery woodland theme. This project is especially fun for experimenting with continuous patterns.
Stockings
Personalised, printed stockings make beautiful keepsakes. You can print motifs down the front, add initials, or create repeat patterns. Whether classic or quirky, they add a handmade touch to any mantlepiece.

Santa Sacks
Big prints for big gifting! Santa sacks offer a large canvas to play with, perfect for oversized motifs like reindeer, baubles, or statement borders. They make Christmas morning feel even more magical for little ones (and grown-ups too!).
